Helpful Resources
Here are some of my favorite places to find sewing supplies:
I don’t receive any commission from these places. I just shop there and can recommend them for being legitimate. There are many other online options that I have had experience with. And even more that I haven’t. I won’t recommend a place I haven’t personally bought from or had a close friend or family member buy from.
- Tools and Notions: Wawak offers quality tools at great prices
- Fabric: Denver Fabrics has a great selection of staples and discount fabric (they can sometimes feel slow to ship though).
- Patterns: Simplicity is the commercial pattern company conglomerate with McCall’s, Butterick, New Look and Vogue under the umbrella. It’s a great place to find inspiration.
Remember, every sewist started exactly where you are now. Take it one project at a time, be patient with yourself, and most importantly – have fun with it! If you get stuck or need advice, you can always find me on Tiktok or visit SeaminglyBadass.com for more tips and tutorials.
Happy sewing, and I can’t wait to see what you create!
